ONE PATTERN MANY LOOKS :: THE PULLOVER DRESS

Last month, I participated in the One Pattern Many Looks Challenge on PatternReview.com. Participants were asked to create several distinct looks using only one pattern. Since I had already planned to make some pullover dresses for the fall, the Vogue Pattern V1314 was an easy choice for the project. In addition to the four dresses pictured, I  actually entered this fifth dress in the challenge.

I decided to keep things simple and vary the fabrics, sleeve and hem lengths. I also did not line my dresses or include the ruching on sides like in the original pattern. The end results are these four super comfy dresses, perfect for a variety of occasions.

Fabrics Used (Left to Right):
Dress 1: Gifted. (98% cotton, 2% spandex)
Dress 2: Stretch Lace from Joann Fabrics
Dress 3: This Knit from Joann. (97% cotton, 3% spandex)
Dress 4: This Knit from Joann. (97% cotton, 3% spandex)
