Hi guys! I hope you had a good weekend. I sure did! I made a cute little dress and I can't wait to share it with you in a future post!  In as much as I would love to make all my maternity clothes, there are just not enough hours in the day. So for now,  I will be sharing with you some of my maternity closet staples and identifying patterns you can use to replicate them.

This Calvin Klein knit dress is one of my favorites. I love the vibrant red color and gold hardware detail on the shoulder and sleeves. I typically do not style my bump with clothes from maternity stores. Instead, I look in traditional stores for clothes that can accommodate a growing bump. That way, I can wear the outfit post baby. A wrap dress is definitely one that will remain in your closet even after the baby is born.

V8825 and  B5454 are awesome wrap dress patterns from the the Mccall Pattern Company. V8379V8784B5030 are also great options for maternity but I suggest shortening the bodice length by a few inches to create an empire waist. You could also add pleats or gathers to the skirt to give your bump more room to expand or extend the hemline to create gorgeous wrap maxis. Try it out!

Thank you so much for reading. Have a great week!
